Shopping in town is a special experience, because the town centre houses a selection of smaller boutiques, bookshops, flower shops, shops with other various goods, etc. Along Kamniška Bistrica the Open air marketplace is on every Tuesday and Saturday, there is a weekly Flea market at Šutna.

Home crafts developed well in Kamnik. Some people still make a living of it today. 
A wide selection of hand-made items, which are suitable as souvenirs or gifts, is also available from our Tourist Information Centre.

Kamnik used to be well known as a highly developed industrial town and some companies have retained their industrial outlet shops until the present.
